My dear uncle Fred, the eldest of my father's siblings, went to be with the Lord in the Spring of this year. There is now only one sibling alive from my dad's brothers and sisters. Thanks be to God she's in good health. Her and her husband.
A friend from El Paso died this year too. Gilbert, may you rest in peace. Onelia, you and Gilbert remain in my prayers.
It seems 2016 was the year for many deaths; esp in the music world: Prince. He remains a sweet reminder of my high school days. George Michael. David Bowie. Merle Haggard. Leonard Cohen.
